You will find the beautiful Black Hall Lodges situated close to Knighton and providing outstanding views over both the Shropshire and Mid Wales countryside. Just a mile away from the historic Offa’s Dyke, when spending time at the lodges you will be surrounded by not just a delightful rural landscape but will experience a relaxing and sublime getaway.
The Black Hall Lodges have been furnished to high standards of impeccable taste. Outside you have a privately situated and lavishly enjoyable hot tub. If you would like something a little more energetic, then the lodges also come with use of an indoor pool and sauna, games room for the whole family, exercise room if you want to top up your gym sessions and even an enticing nature trail. If you have little ones in tow, stop them getting bored by making use of the indoor play area.
You can choose from the Finnish style lodges which face south, providing a real hideaway, enabling the whole family to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of what is a perfect setting or the Canadian lodges. These are laid out around the grounds, each with their own sense of space and privacy.
Black Hall Lodges facilities
As well as the ever popular hot tub situated outside the lodge, you will find indoors a widescreen TV with Freeview plus DVD/CD, Wi-Fi, fully fitted kitchen with all that you need, including dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and even a washing machine. Bathrooms are complete with both bath and shower and the patio has its very own garden furniture and barbecue.
For chillier days, the lodges are double glazed and centrally heated and have the added benefit of a warm and cosy wood burning stove. The lodges come in a variety of sizes so you can choose how many bedrooms you require.
Pets are available, but only in the Helskini Lodge and Inari Lodge at a cost of £35 per week.
Black Hall Lodges surrounding area
Situated on the border between Shropshire and Wales, you will find yourself surrounded by castles and places of interest and history. Nearby is the Ironbridge Gorge which not only has the world’s first iron bridge spanning the river Severn but many fascinating little shops and cafes to browse and enjoy. There are also plenty of museums to visit; great for the children.
Ludlow and Shrewsbury are towns close by that you may wish to explore, famous for their restaurants and array of shops and stores. You can also explore the many country walks, go cycling, and horse riding or even hang gliding or golfing.
