Gloucester city is worth a visit for its extraordinary cathedral alone, one of the finest examples of Norman and Gothic architecture in the country and the location used for Hogwarts in the early Harry Potter films. Cheltenham, with its elegant Regency architecture, excellent restaurants and world famous racing festival, adds a further dimension to what Gloucestershire has to offer as a cabin holiday destination.
