The rivers Tweed, Teviot and Yarrow are renowned throughout Britain for their salmon fishing, and the Tweed Valley is excellent walking and cycling country at any time of year. The 1700 mile Southern Upland Way crosses the Borders from coast to coast, while the Tweed Cycle Way offers a gentler route through some of the most beautiful river scenery in the country.
