Located just a short walk from the charming village of St Teath, this detached lodge has been beautifully furnished and finished to provide a comfortable, luxurious place to get away and enjoy a lovely break in this pretty location.
Sunny and bright, the cottage is enhanced by a large, decked veranda, perfect for sunny morning coffee and long summer evenings spent enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The lodge also benefits from a little lawned garden, with swingball and herb and flower borders, making this a great place for the whole family.
The Coastal Lodge accommodation
All on the ground floor, the lodge consists of two bedrooms: one double and one 2′ 6″ twin. There is a bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC. The fitted kitchen has been equipped with plenty of modern amenities and has a convenient dining area. The sitting room is comfortable and light and leads out onto a veranda.
General amenities include: gas central heating, a gas oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, washing machine, TV with FreeSat, and a DVD player and iPod dock, so there is plenty to keep the entire family entertained.
Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent and there is off road parking with space for one car. The nearest shop, pub and restaurant are a mere 8 minutes’ walk away.

The Coastal Lodge surrounding area
St Teath is a beautiful village just inland from the dramatic North Cornwall Coast. It has lots of unusual things to see, including a famous clock tower, surrounded by pretty seaside cottage built from the local Delabole slate. The churchyard boasts one of the tallest Celtic crosses in Cornwall, and you can hear bells ringing out from the church every Sunday. The village has plenty of conveniences, such as a shop, a butcher’s, a Post Office and a lovely traditional pub serving excellent local food and ales.
Just a short journey away are the stunning Trebarwith Strand and Polzeath beaches, which really cannot be missed. The cottage is also very close to Port Isaac, a traditional Cornish fishing village made famous by the popular TV series Doc Martin.
The area is also extremely popular with outdoor enthusiasts, as it offers stunning coastal walks and cycling routes, looking out over the incredible, dramatic coastline.
