Sunny Cabin, Bossiney near Tintagel, Cornwall

The Sunny Cabin is one of four delightful lodges situated on the owner’s lovely smallholding, in the quaint Cornish village of Bossiney. These comfortable lodges overlook beautiful, green fields and the spectacular coast.

Offering a really rural retreat, the cabins can be booked separately or together. Each has its own private entrance and garden, and they all look out on the owner’s paddocks. Together the lodges sleep up to 13 people, so are fantastic for either romantic retreats or group holidays to this stunning area.

Sunny Cabin accommodation

Sunny Cabin is a ground floor studio apartment that benefits from a lovely open plan living space and traditional woodburning stove.

All on the ground floor it is furnished with a double bed, fitted kitchen area and cosy seating area, and there is a separate shower room with a shower, basin and WC.

The cabin has a sweet little garden, complete with furniture and a barbecue. The garden looks out over the green surroundings and towards the sea, and guests will spend many a lovely summer evening here enjoying the beautiful view.

General amenities include: oil filled electric heaters, as well as the woodburning stove. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, a fridge and microwave. There is also a TV with Freeview, a DVD player and selection of DVDs, and access to a Wi-Fi connection.

Fuel, power, bed linen, towels and the starter pack for the woodburning stove are all included in the rent. There is off road parking with space for one car.

There is a shop and Post Office just 10 minutes away, and a pub and restaurant about a three minute walk.

Sunny Cabin surrounding area

Tintagel is most famous for its castle ruins. Once the home of the legendary Kind Arthur, they sit majestically atop the cliffs and are an absolute must-visit. The surrounding area is beautiful, with dramatic cliffs and lots of secret coves to discover. There are also plenty of large, stunning beaches to enjoy.

Nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove are very popular with surfers. For a really serious day out in the surf, visitors can even reach Newquay and Bude.

Enthusiastic walkers will love to make the most of the stunning walking trails in the area. The SW Coastal Path passes directly through the village and follows the cliffs right down to the edge of the water. A truly impressive way to appreciate the rugged scenery.

For a more leisurely trip out, the charming village of Boscastle is just 2.5 miles away, and has a picturesque quay and some traditional village pubs to enjoy.
