A stunning, intimate cottage, the lodge consists of one double bedroom, with a feature bed, a gorgeous freestanding bath, and a walk in shower and steam room.

Guests can pamper themselves with one of the in-lodge therapies available, or take in the stunning area from the veranda, or their own, private, outdoor hot tub.

The kitchen is fitted with state of the art amenities, and includes a microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.

The lodge is also fitted with a flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD/CD facilities, so there is plenty of entertainment available.

Bed linen, duvets, towels and electricity are all included in the rent, and travel cots and high chairs are available at £10 each per week.

Please note that babies must be included in the party total. A maximum of two pets are welcomed, charged at £40 each per week (small breeds only). All accommodation is non-smoking.

The city of York is an absolute must-visit, with picturesque old streets, and impressive city walls to walk around, and plenty of attractions and history to discover, such as the Jorvik Museum, the famous dungeons and the National Railway Museum.

For a fantastic, exciting, day out, cheer on the horses at York races. Or slightly further afield, just north of the city, the breath taking countryside can really be explored, as well plenty of traditional market towns and historical landmarks like Thirsk and Castle Howard.
